MercyOne Elkader Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital, providing vital services to rural communities in Clayton County. The emergency department operates 24/7 with board-certified physicians and advanced practitioners. Certified as a Level IV Trauma Center, it emphasizes quality, personalized, and safe healthcare close to home.

Join the MercyOne Family! We are hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist to plan, administer, and evaluate physical therapy services across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, in accordance with department protocols.

Schedule

• M – F; 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

General Requirements

• Ability to evaluate and treat patients across all age groups.
• Ability to communicate clearly with individuals and groups from infants to geriatrics.
• Ability to work independently and plan daily activities.
• Ability to put patients at ease and ensure their comfort.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective teamwork abilities.

Education

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure by the State of Iowa as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
