Job summary

Sp-Management-Services-Inc in North Carolina is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide evaluation, treatment, education and discharge planning under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Services. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, administer exercises and manual therapy, educate patients, document progress, and collaborate with physicians.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PT program, NC PT license, BLS, and strong

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• North Carolina PT license; BLS required.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, documentation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations including strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration and motor function.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and modalities.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and assistive devices.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety activities.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Services, the Physical Therapist will provide physical therapy evaluation, treatment, education and discharge planning in accordance with physician orders and professional standards.

Essential Job Functions
