Reisterstown, Ellicott City, Westminster, and Pikesville
MedStar Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (float) to join our team at MNRN at Pikesville. We require a professional competent in general physical therapy practice, with experience in varied evaluation and treatment approaches, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication skills for interacting with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation across at least three outpatient locations. Participation in program planning, protocol development, and team goal achievement is also expected.

Provide evaluation services, review relevant history, perform assessments, and document results. Explain findings and treatment plans to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.
Implement treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation findings, patient presentation, and healthcare environment. Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed. Recognize and document changes in patient condition requiring plan modification or additional consultation.
Complete discharge planning and follow-up care. Document and charge for patient activities accurately and timely, including initial evaluation, progress notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluation.
Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations. Maintain an accurate schedule and demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and professionalism to ensure patient access to care.
Pursue continuing education for professional growth. Serve as a clinical instructor, assist with staff orientation and mentoring, and participate in initiatives to improve access and quality of care.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
Licensure in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required for the location.
American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
