Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services
- Perform evaluations and provide rehabilitative services for patients with muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical problems
- Support multidisciplinary treatment coordination
- Accurately document patient care activities
- Maintain professional standards and comply with policies and regulations
- Communicate effectively with staff, medical personnel, and patients
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper care, supports, and exercises
- Perform or delegate treatments including modalities, exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy
- Ensure proper documentation and secure prescriptions
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in professional development and clinical instruction
- Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Masters’ Degree preferred
- Experience in orthopedic settings, including use of modalities and therapeutic exercises
- Orthopedic outpatient experience preferred
