Job summary

AVIR at San Angelo is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our patient-centered rehab team in San Angelo, TX. We offer both full-time and per diem schedules, with a competitive starting hourly rate and opportunities for growth.

The role focuses on evaluating function, creating individualized treatment plans, hands-on therapy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve mobility and quality of life for our patients.

Qualifications

• DPT from an accredited program.
• Current Texas PT license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical function, mobility, strength, and range of motion.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and safety strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
