Job summary

Samaritan Keep Home is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and plan individualized therapy programs for residents and patients. You will implement treatment plans and, when appropriate, supervise PTAs or Rehab Aides within the Rehab department.

Requirements include a BS in Physical Therapy, New York State licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification or within 3 months of hire. The role is based in the United States with standard 8-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physical Therapy education program, with a minimum of a BS in Physical Therapy.
• Successful completion of all Physical Therapy student internships.
• Minimum Experience: ability to interact with all age groups served.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and re-evaluations and plans a PT program for patients/residents/registrants.
• Implements a physical therapy program for medically referred individuals.
• May supervise PTAs or Rehab Aides if they are employed by Rehab department.
