Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for the Phelps Health Hospital ARU Unit in Rolla, MO. This full-time day shift (FT Days) offers a 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, educate nursing staff and families, document care, and maintain a safe, compliant unit. New grads welcome; strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Accepting new grads.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition, develop a treatment plan, and guide daily progress.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care per regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
