Job summary

Lifepoint Health is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for Phelps Health Hospital ARU in Rolla, MO. This full-time, dayshift role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and educate staff and families to support ongoing progress. Opportunities exist in a fast-paced, learning-focused unit with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Accepting new grads.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care per regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area safe and clean.
• Handle job responsibilities per conduct, compliance and applicable laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
