Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, nonexempt role. The schedule runs 9:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with holiday/weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Physical Therapist License in State.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Proficient in English (oral and written); additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, establish goals, and develop personalized interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with standards.
• Monitor progress and modify plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
