Independent Contractor Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician‑prescribed physical therapy to improve or minimize residual physical disabilities of the patient.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the physician, healthcare team, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patient’s status.
• Help develop the plan of care and revise as necessary.
• Communicate with Americare Therapy Services as needed regarding issues related to rehabilitation services and indicated patient care.

Position Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience, preferred.
• Licensed by the State of New York as a Physical Therapist.
• Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or successor organizations of CAPTE.
• Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
