Job description

Physical Therapist - Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Join our team as a Physical Therapist - Certified Lymphedema Therapist in Mission Viejo, California. This is a full-time position dedicated to providing comprehensive patient care. Your responsibilities will include evaluation, assessment, treatment planning tailored to patient needs, program development, and response evaluation, with adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. You will also educate patients, families, peers, and the community, and coordinate with healthcare professionals, including physicians.

The role requires demonstrating advanced skills and serving as a clinical instructor for students and interns. You will follow an individualized performance development plan to stay current and competent, supporting hospital goals and objectives.

Required qualifications:
  • California Physical Therapist License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • 0-3 years of clinical experience as a practicing therapist
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience with program or staff development projects or assignments
  • Experience as a clinical instructor and in presenting in-services
  • Participation in community service events within the past year
  • APTA Membership upon hire
