Job summary

Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients regain or maintain mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. You will perform initial evaluations, develop plans of care, provide direct treatments, and document progress while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and families.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
• Arizona Physical Therapist license (AZ)
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct physical therapy treatments and document progress
• Meet patient care productivity standards and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Complete documentation of treatment minutes and charges in a timely manner
• Participate in continuing education and skill development
• Engage in internal/external task forces or committees as approved
• Develop competencies for various clinical areas (General, ICU, DBS, etc.)

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Physical Therapist, you will help patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing so they can function at their best level, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life.

Every day you will perform initial evaluations, develop and update individualized plans of care, and provide a variety of direct treatments. You will be expected to consistently meet patient care productivity standards, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and families, and promote a positive customer service environment.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong age-appropriate competency skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

• Support Barrow Neurology Clinic Movement Disorder referrals.
• Also viital to maintain clinical balance with staff OT and staff SLP for patients requiring multiple therapies.
• Meets or exceeds the productivity standard individual basis and at the department level.
• Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.
• Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.
• Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.
• Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management (General, ICU, FIM, DBS, Lung Transplant, Behavior management, MBS, FEES, etc).

We are offering a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting
• Physical Therapist: AZ
• Basic Life Support - CPR

Preferred

• Masters Other in appropriate clinical area
• Doctorate Of Science in Physical Therapy
• 2 years progressive experience in Physical Therapy clinical area performing patient clinical care
