Job Description

Provide therapy to patients in a SNF setting under the supervision of a Physical Therapist using a variety of therapeutic techniques. Treat patients with respect, dignity, and privacy, motivate them to participate in therapy, and adhere to the established plan of treatment. Use creative interventions tailored to patients’ interests and needs to achieve positive outcomes. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement maintenance programs. Accurately document patient progress and justify the medical necessity of care, demonstrating effective use of the computer system in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant curriculum by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Valid and current license in the state of employment.
  • At least one (1) year of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapy assistant.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organized.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, in good condition.
  • Ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with Apple devices is a plus.
  • New graduates are welcome at some locations.
