Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time - PTA) - Atmore Nursing Home

Join us at Restore Therapy Services as a Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time - PTA) at Atmore Nursing Home.

Job Overview

Provide therapy to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Utilize various therapeutic techniques to promote patient progress, respecting their dignity, privacy, and motivation. Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop plans of care, and implement functional maintenance programs. Accurately document patient progress and justify the medical necessity of care plans. Demonstrate effective use of computer systems in adherence to company policies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant curriculum by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current and valid license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as a licensed physical therapy assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organized, and proficient with computer use, including internet, email, and software applications. Experience with Apple iPads and iPods is a plus.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license with insured, well-maintained vehicle.
  • Ability to perform job functions with or without accommodations.
