Job summary

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in California is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support the Physical Therapy team in ambulation, exercises, education, and patient transfers. The PTA helps deliver services appropriate to teen, adult, and geriatric patients under supervision.

The role requires graduation from a physical therapy program, California PTA license, BLS certification, and at least one year of PTA experience; basic computer skills are expected.

The Physical Therapy Department generally serves patients in teen, adult, and geriatric age groups. The Physical Therapy Assistant must be able to provide physical therapy services appropriate to the age of the patients.

Requirements

Graduated from a program in Physical Therapy. Current California PTA, Physical Therapy Assistant License. Current BLS Certification. At least one year of experience as a PTA. Basic computer skills.
