SAN-Gorgonio-Memorial-Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for per diem, day shift coverage as needed, including weekdays and weekends. The role assists therapists with ambulation, exercises, patient education, and transfers, serving teen to geriatric patients.

Job description

Per Diem , Day Shift , Weekdays, and weekend days as needed; 8am-4:30pm; Pay Rate=$39.65 per hour.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assists the PhysicalTherapists in various types of treatment including ambulation, exercise programs, patient education, patient transfers, etc.

The Physical Therapy Department generally serves patients in teen, adult, and geriatric age groups. The Physical Therapy Assistant must be able to provide physical therapy services appropriate to the age of the patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduated from a program in Physical Therapy. Current California PTA, Physical Therapy Assistant License. Current BLS Certification. At least one year of experience as a PTA. Basic computer skills.
