Job summary

Mountain View Pain Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our outpatient multidisciplinary team in Northglenn, CO. The role focuses on orthopedic patients with potential pelvic floor therapy exposure, working under a Physical Therapist to advance functional goals.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado State License required for a PTA.
• BLS Certification required as a condition of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Participate in patient plan of care meetings with the PT.
• Record and document treatment notes promptly per policy.
• Assist in discharge planning under PT supervision.
• Suggest needed equipment to the PT.
• Accept other duties as assigned.
• Progress and regress patients under clinical judgment as needed.
• Incorporate technology into daily practice as directed by the Company.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant in our busy outpatient multidisciplinary office. Our patient population is primarily outpatient orthopedic with a small percentage of vestibular and neurological patients. We are also currently trying to grow our pelvic floor therapy services so experience or interest in pelvic floor therapy is a plus. Our main goal at Mountain View Pain Center is patient centered care and we provide our employees with all the tools for them to grow as clinicians and to treat their patients effectively. Our PT philosophy is treating the patient as a whole using movement as medicine and we achieve that by working together in our interdisciplinary team to get our patients to achieve their treatment goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
• Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan.

• Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.

• Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
• Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.

Qualifications Minimum Experience & Qualifications

• Active Colorado State License
• Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards
• Have an active BLS Certification, the class must be at least hybrid, if not completely in person

Must have a current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license before first day of hire.

Pay Range

$58,000.00 - $75,000.00 salary

$58,000 - 75,000 annually

Work Location

Northglenn Clinic, 100% Onsite

Hours

• Monday - Thursday – 8 hour days, 8:00AM- 6:00PM (clinics are closed for a 2 hour lunch break)
• Fridays – 8:00AM-1:00PM
