Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
  • Implement the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
  • Assist patients in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to the supervisor and team members
  • Assist with patient scheduling and record charges
  • Document patient care according to regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Instruct family or nursing staff in follow-up programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
  • Handle responsibilities in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program culminating in an Associate Degree
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA
  • CPR certification (if required)
  • Hourly rate: $35.00
