What you will do in this role:

  • Provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting as part of a team.
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing patients' Care Plans for rehabilitation. Support mentally and/or physically impaired patients in participating in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
  • Educate patients’ families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
  • Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
  • CPR certification (if required).
