Job summary

South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its in-house therapy team in a skilled nursing facility in Rhode Island. The PTA will provide treatments to residents under the supervision of a registered therapist, ensure documentation, and support resident goals.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program with current state licensure and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Full time, part time and PRN available.
• PTA works under the supervision of the registered therapist.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents in the SNF setting under the supervision of the licensed therapist.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to implement treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate with team members.
