Responsibilities

• Delegate authority to Rehabilitation Technicians
• Maintain productivity level at department target
• Carry out treatment plan established by licensed Physical Therapist
• Remain competent in modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, electrotherapy
• Perform therapeutic exercise, gait training, and wheelchair transfers
• Attend continuing education in-servicing
• Mentor new employee(s) or volunteers
• Serve as clinical instructor for PTA students after one year of experience
• Complete documentation according to regulations and in a timely manner
• Remain within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies
• Charge patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment
• Be competent in computer use for documentation and charging purposes
