Job summary

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, guiding patients and families, and collaborating with a broader care team. A PTA degree and state licensure are required, with CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current PTA licensure or certification in the state.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• 0–1 year of PTA experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising PT.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and home progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
