Markent Personnel is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. You will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist and document patient activities and charges in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate is CAPTE-accredited, holds a valid state license and CPR certification, and can lift 50 pounds with endurance for typical shifts. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for patient and family interactions.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Licensure: Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Skills: Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
