Pivot Rehabilitation in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). The role offers competitive pay starting at $33 per hour plus an $8,000 relocation or sign-on bonus and a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

You will assist the supervising PT, document treatments, participate in care conferences and rehabilitation meetings, and collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.
• Must have good communication skills and relate professionally to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.
• Must be capable of performing the responsibilities of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the physical therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates progress and plans with supervising therapist and other team members.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state Physical Therapy rules.
