Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in San Marcos, TX. The role offers mentorship, clinical development, and a pathway to specialty certification funded by CRG.

We provide competitive pay ($30-$35/hour) and a comprehensive benefits package including 401k, PTO, medical, dental, and vision. Licensure reimbursement is offered after one year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Uses evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Delivers skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
• Assesses patient progress and communicates with the supervising therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides counseling to patients, families, and other care providers related to physical disorders.
• Contributes to discharge summaries per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.
• Assesses and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
