Physical Therapist Assistant(PTA)

Shifts Available:Full-Time, Part Time & PRN

Service Areas: Woodlands, Northeast and Southeast Houston

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the facilitation of rehabilitation of patients with emotional, physical or mental disabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of physical therapy care plans.
  • Assist with the coordination of care with the home healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and family members about health conditions.
  • Prepare timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, office support, and other care team members.

Qualifications:

  • Assistant Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Home health experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
  • Experience with HCHB EMR. (preferred but not required)
  • Able to handle physical workload.
  • Good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
