Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Iowa.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments in patients' homes under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and safety.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and functional mobility activities.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and progress toward goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency policies and regulatory requirements.
