Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain.
• Instruct and motivate residents in therapeutic activities.

You, our Ideal Candidate
As a valued member of our in-house team, not a contracted service, you play a vital role in supporting our residents’ recovery and independence. You’re compassionate, collaborative, and skilled in guiding individuals through customized rehabilitation plans. You’re flexible, empathetic, and have a positive attitude that helps residents feel encouraged and empowered.

Responsibilities

• Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain and enhance mobility
• Instruct and motivate residents in therapeutic activities
• Observe, document, and report progress and treatment responses
• Fit and train residents with orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Collaborate with team members to update treatment programs
• Support clerical tasks including inventory, ordering supplies, and documentation

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
