PTA Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Collaborate with the family, physicians, schools and other educational institutions, and our team to deliver the best clinical outcomes, and ensure the continuum of care for our patients.
• Case Management: Complete case management activities consistent with department quality assurance and quality improvement standards.
• Patient Care: Incorporate principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services.
• Evidence-based care: Provide services consistent with contemporary, evidence-based practice in physical therapy and department quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate Degree from an Accredited PTA program
• Certification (s): BLS for Healthcare Providers/CPR
• Licensure: State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Physical Therapist (PTA) license; Credentialing must be completed by the Medical Staff Office (MSO) within 3 months of employment

Physical Requirements:

• The job requires the ability to sit for 1-2 hours and stand or walk for 4-6 hours daily. It involves frequent bending and occasionally carrying, lifting, pulling, pushing, and reaching, each up to one-third of the time. Precise motor function with both hands is needed, and lifting up to 50 pounds may be required up to one-third of the time.
