Position Overview

We are hiring PRN Physical Therapist Assistants at Wexford House in Kingsport, TN, a 174-bed skilled nursing facility managed by Ahava Healthcare starting 5/1/2025, focusing on short-term rehab.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing physical therapy treatments as per the plan developed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assisting with tests, evaluations, and complex treatments.
  • Monitoring and reporting patient reactions and progress.
  • Maintaining treatment records and notes.
  • Collaborating with family, physicians, and healthcare team members.
  • Supporting the occupational therapy department and participating in meetings and education.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure or eligibility to support licensure in Tennessee.
