Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

• Treat patients as directed by the physical therapist
• Record treatments in medical records
• Participate in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings
• Communicate with supervising therapist, rehab director, and other team members regarding patient progress and plans
• Participate in facility in-service training programs
• Record daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedures and state rules

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license in practicing state
• Good communication skills and the ability to relate professionally to patients, families, and staff
• Capable of performing job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
