Position: Physical Therapist Assistant, PTA

NHC HomeCare Tallahassee is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA is a skilled technical provider of physical therapy treatments, working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Current license in the state of practice.
• Membership in state and national Physical Therapy Associations is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services as directed by the physical therapist and ordered by the physician, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist the physical therapist in evaluating patient progress toward goals.
• Observe, record, and report patient conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.
• Maintain detailed treatment records and document patient progress as directed by the therapist.
