Job summary

The Barclay of Sarasota is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join Rehab In Motion on a PRN basis. You will support our growing team with 1:1 patient care and hands-on rehabilitation tasks.

This role emphasizes flexible hours, clinical autonomy, and opportunities for professional growth within Adoration Health's network.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in the state of practice.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics, and/or home health.
• One year preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, and move/transfer patients potentially up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients’ strength, mobility, and function.
• Provide training to individuals and others involved in their rehabilitation, and document results.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support individuals’ plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multi-disciplinary team as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a PT‑Assistant PRN to support our growing team at The Barclay of Sarasota.
