Job summary

NHC Milan is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on a PRN basis to deliver rehabilitation services to patients recovering strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery.

The PTA will work as part of a dedicated team in a skilled nursing setting, helping patients regain independence. Strong communication and reliability are essential, and prior SNF experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an APTA accredited Physical Therapy course.
• Licensed as a Tennessee Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Flexible, team‑player, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities, Matrix, or Casamba is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients needing rehabilitative treatment to restore strength, balance, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery.
• Contribute to patient recovery goals and document progress in medical records.
