What you will do in this role:

  • Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting
  • Implement the patient's Care Plan under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, helping impaired patients participate in tasks to restore and enhance performance
  • Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges to records
  • Document patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Instruct patient families or nursing staff in follow-through programs
  • Maintain equipment and work area safety and cleanliness
  • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program with an Associate Degree
  • Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the service areas
  • CPR certification (if required)
