Shady Nook Nursing & Rehab in Lawrenceburg, IN is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver skilled services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting, implementing treatment plans to promote mobility and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold an Indiana PTA license, have completed an accredited PTA program, and possess CPR certification or the ability to obtain it.

• Current Indiana PTA license.

• Earlier experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation or long-term care preferred.

Position Type: PRN

Shady Nook Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking for flexibility while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The PTA will implement individualized treatment plans while promoting resident progress, safety, mobility, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Indiana
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident care
