What you will do in this role:

1. Under the guidance of a supervising PT, acquire pertinent information and implement comprehensive treatment programs using varied techniques and activities; review and modify treatment plans based on patient needs; identify equipment and discharge requirements.
2. Be aware of patient injuries/diagnoses and take all necessary precautions, observing indications and contraindications.
3. Assist patients in preparing for treatments or modalities as necessary.
4. Provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations and complete documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act.
5. Communicate and collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising PT.
6. Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed PT in the patient's Plan of Care (POC). Progress patients appropriately when deemed necessary by the PT.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
