United Future in Pinole, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team. The PTA will support licensed physical therapists in delivering patient-centered care and documenting care episodes.

You will collaborate with patients, families, and staff while adhering to state and federal regulations. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State PTA or PT license and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for majority of shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled PTA treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Document patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
