The role requires an associate degree and active PTA license, with CPR certification, and involves delivering skilled outpatient PT under supervision. The PTA will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, follow physician orders, and help progress patient treatment plans in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions under supervision.

Job Description:

A great Outpatient facility is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract assignment.
• Shift: Monday - Friday 8/9 AM - 5/6 PM
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Must have earned an Associates degree from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant / Physical Therapy Assistant / PTA.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT.
• Implement and modify the patient's physical therapy plan of treatment under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Physical Therapist / PT .
• Effectively collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to meet patients goals.
