Job Details

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available

Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Physical Therapy services, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Conduct resident screenings to determine intervention needs.
  • Assist in evaluations and treatment planning.
  • Implement treatment plans, including exercises and modalities.
  • Monitor and report resident responses to treatments.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish and modify schedules.
  • Train residents, families, and staff on equipment use.
  • Participate in education for residents, families, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation per CMS and EMR system requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
