Job Details

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Physical Therapy services in accordance with current standards and regulations, ensuring high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct resident screenings and assist in evaluations.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct individual and group treatments targeting muscle strength, mobility, balance, gait, and other areas.
• Monitor residents’ responses and modify treatments as needed.
• Train residents, families, and staff on equipment use.
• Participate in education and quality assurance activities.
• Complete all documentation in compliance with CMS and EMR systems.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in applicable state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.
