Job Details

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Type: PRN

Location: Paris, TN

Job Purpose

Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Physical Therapy services to ensure the highest quality resident care, in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Conduct resident screenings and assist in evaluations.
  • Assist in developing treatment plans and goals.
  • Conduct individual and group treatments, including muscle strength, mobility, balance, gait, and modalities.
  • Monitor resident responses and modify interventions as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling and training residents, families, and staff on equipment use.
  • Participate in resident, family, and staff education.
  • Ensure proper documentation and participate in quality assurance programs.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the practicing state.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
