Position: Physical Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility.

Type: PRN

Location: Seagertown, PA

Job Purpose

Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Physical Therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care, in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Conduct resident screenings and assist in evaluations.
  • Assist in developing treatment plans and goals.
  • Perform individual and group treatments, including muscle strength, mobility, balance, gait training, and modalities.
  • Monitor resident responses and modify treatments as needed.
  • Participate in resident, family, and staff education.
  • Complete documentation compliant with CMS expectations using NetHealth EMR systems.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in applicable state(s).
  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development.
