Responsibilities

• Perform direct physical therapy services as per standards and physician certification
• Follow the Plan of Care under supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Adhere to State Practice Act Guidelines
• Verify and implement the Plan of Care
• Incorporate patient care goals into therapy
• Instruct patients and families on use of assistive devices
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy home programs

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association
• Preferably 6+ months of experience as a PTA
• Current PTA license
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
