Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy following the Physical Therapist's directions and physician's plan of care
• Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain performance
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait and functional training, transfers, and prosthetic training
• Utilize physical agents like heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound, and massage
• Observe and report patient reactions and condition changes to the Physical Therapist and organization staff
• Instruct patients on the care and use of mobility and orthotic devices
• Complete online charting immediately after visits using provided devices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience)

$10,000 Sign-on Bonus

Requirements

• Current PTA License to practice in California (required)
• Home Health experience (preferred, 1 year)
• Valid California Driver's License
• Coverage area: East Contra Costa County (Antioch to Oakley)
