Job summary

MedSide Healthcare in Cobb area is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled rehabilitation services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans and help improve mobility and independence in daily living activities.

The PTA must hold Georgia licensure and be able to drive to 5–6 home visits daily. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team dedicated to high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia PTA licensure with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions.
• One year PTA experience in a home health setting (preferred).
• Comfortable driving to 5–6 visits daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled rehabilitation services per the Plan of Treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer therapies in patients' homes to develop and restore function through rehabilitative PT.
• Communicate patient progress and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

SUMMARY:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. He / she administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must posses the following qualifications:

• MUST HAVE Current Georgia PTA licensure, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions.
• One year of previous PTA experience in a home health setting (Preferred)
• Comfortable Driving 5-6 Visits Daily
