Solaris HealthCare is now hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team!

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Qualifications :

  • Successful graduation from a school providing a course of not less than two years for physical therapist assistants, approved by the appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the U.S. Department of Education at the time of graduation.
  • Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Florida.
  • Prior experience in Physical Therapy, preferred.
  • Member of state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in physical therapy.
  • Thorough knowledge of potential hazards to patients during treatment and necessary precautionary and remedial measures.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and obtain their cooperation in the prescribed treatment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the medical staff and other personnel.
  • Demonstrate emotional stability to cope with the demands of both patients and employees.
  • Must maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement, preferred.
