Hospital Details

San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Fresno, CA, is a 62-bed acute rehab hospital providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services, including treatment, program planning, documentation, and communication. Work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred, including hospital experience.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Proficiency with computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Clear of illegal drug use and effects of substances in the workplace.
