Job summary

Yoakum Community Hospital in Texas is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our compassionate patient care team. Working with a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver hands-on treatments, therapeutic massages, and targeted exercises to help patients of all ages restore mobility and improve well-being.

You will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery plans, collaborate with therapists, and contribute to a supportive work environment built

Qualifications

• AA in PTA program from an accredited college or university.
• Valid and current Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of growth and development across different age groups.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

Working closely with our Physical Therapist, you will provide hands-on treatments, therapeutic massages, and targeted exercises to help patients of all ages-from pediatrics to geriatrics-restore mobility and improve their overall well-being. You will also play a vital role in guiding and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and recovery plans.

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university
