Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy interventions under a licensed physical therapist. You will collaborate on patient plans of care and contribute to patient outcomes in a resident-centered setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with health care professionals, documenting care, and advocating for residents while maintaining high standards of compassion and integrity.

Competenze

• Must have and maintain a current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of operation.
• Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited PTA program.
• Long-term care facility experience preferred.
• Successful criminal background check

JOB SUMMARY

The Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA position is to provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. It is responsible for collaborating with the supervising therapist regarding the patient’s plan of care, patient performance, response to treatment, and any other pertinent information.

Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with other health care professionals in the assessment, planning, and safe implementation of all therapy.
• Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
• Ensure excellent communication among residents, families, and staff.
• Provide clinical documentation
• Create positive resident outcomes.
• Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
• Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
• Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent and an associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited PTA program.
